In light of the persistently high levels of air pollution in the national capital, the Supreme Court issued a directive on Tuesday, instructing the Punjab government to cease the practice of stubble burning. Additionally, the apex court directed the states of Punjab, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, and Rajasthan to immediately halt stubble burning.
